One of the most interesting qualities of this plant is the sweetness in taste and smell. This plant also performs well under all conditions. A compact Indica growth pattern makes this an easy plant to grow and work with. The more branches your seedling mother will produce, the higher the yield that can be expected.

This variety (which was branded 'Double Bubble' at the time) produced varied phenotypes. Out of ten seeds germinated, four were female. As could be expected from an F2, the females were all broadly different in appearance, smell and flowering time. All produced good quality smoke, however one phenotype (2 of the plants) has what could be described as a classic Bubblegum smell and taste- and this smoke was considered to be much stronger than the Super Skunk that is currently available here.

One plant was topped and produced eight 7g buds- the only drawback is that is took 70 days to finish. This was a nice plant to play around with, but those looking for consistency in yield and product should avoid this strain if growing from seed. It should, however, be possible to find a mother with good characteristics from a packet of 16.

Nice bud, but it takes too long to grow. It took 111 days from seed to harvest. It has a very clean high, good for smoking in the moring or to go to the park; my wife loves it. The plants vary a lot as regards size and color.

I've grown one plant of Double gum in my grow room. I was started with seeds. Then the vegetative phase took for 15 days with 18/24. After that, I’ve started the bloom with 12/12. The plant took more of 15 days before the first flowers. My plant had many branches and was very bushy. Then I waited 60 days before harvesting.

The double gum strain is very easy to cultivate but the bloom phase is longer than the breeder's says.

After curing the buds are very resinous. The smoke is pleasant with a high level of fruity and resinous aroma. The effects are very strong: the high is very short and becomes quickly couch lock

A non-expensive strain easy to grow, easy to clone, with a correct yield, but a bloom phase a little bit longer.

I growed DG at 2005 summer, in guerilla out. 5 seeds, 100% germination, 4 female. I planted the seeds somewhat later, 1st week of june 2 main pheno, a compact dark green bushy indica (main) and a somewhat thin sativa/indica. The maturation was longer than i expected, the odor of the plants was not too strong, only sensed at close quarters. Healthy veg. The high is really impressive!! Overall buzz, strong in body and in head too (using at daytime carefully) The indica phenos are much stronger. Totally headshot. Large, resinous trichos. The buds were very compact, (so watch out for mould), heavy and gluey. Luscious smell. overall, a really good value, easy to grow and a perfect high!!
