Cannabis Celebrity Joe Rogan

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC ) announcer Joe Rogan is a reefer warrior. Taking the legal marijuana campaign to both the fight world and television as host of Fear Factor.

The practitioner of Yoga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is no stranger to cannabis controversy. Many fight fan websites have been demanding UFC promoter's test Rogan, who provides colorful commentary to straight person Mike Goldberg, just like they drug test UFC fighters.

UFC promoters have refused to step into the cannabis controversy.Possibly because Rogan is a High Times 2007 Stony of the Year award winner.

"You can take your Oscars and your Emmy's and stuff them deep up your ass as far as I’m concerned, but I’m not missing the 'Stonys,'" he wrote on his official blog.

Three years earlier the comedian turned color commentator hosted the Stony Award show. He jokes, "The odds of keeping that place weed smoke free are about the same as Brittney Spears winning mom of the year."

After the Stony Award ceremony in New York City, Rogan reported, "I spent the last 3 hours of the night laying in bed with my eyes closed watching magical elves performing a cosmic sitcom."

This came from eating a potent cannabis laced brownie. He jokes he may have asked for seconds. Rogan enjoyed the experience of being higher than ever before with the understanding that even the most potent pot won't kill you.
